ABOUT RAMBLE TAMBLE
The story of Ramble Tamble is one of people’s power. That’s right—you, the audience! The person who buys a ticket and takes a punt on seeing a band perform Creedence songs. If we get things right on the night, they walk away with a great experience and perhaps tell a few friends. This has always been the foundation of our work. Ramble Tamble operates completely independently. We do not work with any entertainment agents; instead, we find venues to perform in and sell tickets directly to our shows. It’s a very straightforward approach.
We began back in June 1989—36 years ago! Three of the founding members are still part of the band today. Over the years, we’ve built quite a following, numbering in the thousands, and have had the privilege of performing all over Australia. We’ve headlined outdoor concerts, played in casinos, concert theatres, prestigious venues, and lots of pubs. As a result, we have sold out many shows along the way.
We have never tried to impersonate Creedence Clearwater Revival by wearing cheap wigs or speaking in fake American accents. We have too much respect for CCR and their music to do that. We are Ramble Tamble, and we play CCR songs live. To be honest, I’m not sure if you could even classify us as a tribute band. I prefer to think of our performances as a genuine tribute to the music of Creedence Clearwater Revival, done with respect for die-hard CCR fans.
**THE BAND**
The band members have years of experience touring with some of the world’s top recording artists and tribute shows, both nationally and internationally. Often, we play original music as well, and some members of Ramble Tamble are accomplished recording artists in their own right. We are well-versed in the music of Creedence Clearwater Revival and perform it to a very high standard.
